The S4BK-711 from the Gent range is a S4 Dual Optical Heat Sensor Black Body.

The S4BK-711-V Dual Optical Black Heat Sensor with Voice is a Gent Vigilon S-Quad sensor with a unique combination of sensing elements to provide quick, intelligent fire decisions. Smoke detection is enhanced using patented dual optical scatter technology. This allows it to be configured to filter specific risks such as steam and dust, resulting in significantly reduced false alarms.

Voice messages stored on a memory chip in the sensor can be triggered to give clearly understood messages leading to quicker and safer evacuation.

A new concept in fire detection – a truly intelligent analogue sensor combining exceptional computing power in the sensor as well as the panel to achieve an extremely fast response to a real fire whilst minimising the risk of false alarms.
